Alfred N. Gichu is Head of the Climate Change Response Program of the Kenya Forest Service and National REDD+ Coordinator & Focal Point of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources

Randall Bluffstone is Professor of Economics and Director of the Institute for Economics and the Environment at Portland State University. His research interests focus on environmental and resource economics, including climate change, energy, pollution control and deforestation in low-income countries. Professor Bluffstone is associate editor of the journal Forest Economics and is currently a Fulbright Senior Scholar in Nepal.

Ellysar Baroudy is Lead Carbon Finance Specialist in the Climate Change Group of the World Bank. She manages the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility and the BioCarbon Fund. Elly has worked on results-based carbon finance programmes ranging from afforestation/reforestation to reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) as well as agriculture.
